Here is my lovely food and drink exchange which i received today from Maddy for the Exchange Heaven blog. A gorgeous cupcakes cushion, badge, pen, stitches and all wrapped in cupcake paper…gorgeous and good enough to eat. Thanks Maddy it is gorgeous.
I was not happy with the colours and the size of the Beatrix Potter Quaker Sampler I was stitching so have therefore decided to start again, I have chosen the same fabric 32c Belfast Linen in Antique Ivory, but this time I am using DMC 518 as the main colour and 519 as the accent colour. I have also decided to stitch one over one on this piece to make it slightly more manageable whilst stitching.
The few motifs I had completed will be used to make some pinkeeps so that my stitching does not go to waste.

lovely cup cakes so pretty and beautifully finished, what a lovely exchange pressie for you. I guess you'll have smoking needles on that BP sal I too am starting again.. something that big has to be just right... mine is going to be an heirloom if I ever get started again and of course finished!!
